Lithium Ion: Compared to the other rechargeable batteries, the lithium ion batteries can store more energy and include high density. It is usually available in high voltages. It has the power to retain its charge capacity for a long period of time. It is quite expensive in comparison to the other types of batteries. It is also available in a huge variety of sizes so that it can be used for different purposes. It is usually used in laptops and other electrical devices.
Nickel Zinc: Another variety includes the nickel zinc battery which was basically introduced to replace the military zinc batteries. Nickel zinc offers high voltage and high discharge rates. It is completely safe to use as it does not include any type of toxic materials. It is also non-combustible. It can be used in cameras, electric bicycles, scooters and lawn mowers. Cell Phone Battery: Another variety of battery includes the cell phone battery which can also be recharged. Most of these products vary largely according to the size of the cell phones. Cell phones with sleek designs and compact batteries discharge quickly compared to the other types of cell phones.
